Manuscript Status Update - September!

Greetings!

So maybe I should do this every other month. Really. Onwards!

1.) Red Korova, the Free Trial Scenario that allows you to try out the game

(well, if you have a copy of Blades in the Dark or go the SRD), has been

updated to Version 8 - this is due to the progress I'm making towards finishing

the game, as well as comments from my playtesters and demo players at

DragonFlight. (Which as noted, was fun and a moderate success, even with

some technical difficulties with the website on Saturday. Oh, well.)

Manuscript Chapter Breakdown.

Chapter 1 - Basics of the Game - DONE.

Chapter 2 - Characters & Abilities - DONE.

Chapter 2a - Master Playbook Special Ability List,

General Special Abilities (Open to All),

Resilience Special Ability Lists (Mental, Physical)

Super-Strength Special Ability List

Psychic Special Ability List - 95% (A few last psychic powers to write up...)

Chapter 3 - Teams & Changing the World - 80%. (Changing the World is difficult!)

Chapter 4 - Mission Profiles - What a Team Does - DONE.

Chapter 5 - Integrity Is What You Are In The Dark: Downtime  - 90% (Final Editing Sweep)

Chapter 6 - The Story's The Thing: How to Play - 45% (So much to do...)

Chapter 7 - Running The Game - 45% (Same as Above.)

Chapter 8 - Strange Magic & Eccentric Technology - - 90% (Rewrote Crafting, Final Check)

Chapter 9 - Guide to Jet City - 40%. (I have four district maps left to make)

Chapter 10 - The Jet City World  - 95% (Finished the 'Secrets of the CID'...)

Chapter 11 - The Appendix: Additional Material - DONE.

Whereas Blades in the Dark has one packet, I decided I needed two.

The Player Packet has about 38 pages, while the GM Packet has 12 pages. Ooof.

Disruptors_Sheets_Player - Playbooks, Team sheets, Factions Et Al - DONE.

Disruptors_Sheets_GM - Reference Sheets, Faction Tracking Sheets, Et Al - 80%.

(The most difficult part of this packet are the Mission Generators - there's one for

Heroes, and one for Villains. Heroes is done, working on Villains.)

I have a few Supplemental or "Stretch Goals" sketched out, but I have no intention

of spending ANY time on these until after the Main Project - as noted above - is in

the can. As you might expect, I have not touched either Mars: The Red Planet or

Mission City: Home of the Ikons. Those are for later.
